Randall Fields, CEO
Randall K. (Randy) Fields is CEO of Prescient Applied Intelligence (OTCBB: PPID) and Park City Group, Inc. (OTCBB: PCYG) a leading provider of patented inventory and labor optimization solutions for retailers. Park City Group develops and markets patented end-to-end software solutions that effectively and efficiently help its retailer and supplier customers to increase sales while reducing inventory and labor costs. The company also offers retail consulting, data analytics, and category management expertise through its Business Metrics Group. Park City Group has customers that are recognized retail leaders both domestically and internationally such as The Home Depot, Williams-Sonoma, Tesco, The Limited, SuperValu, Crate and Barrel, Kellogg’s, Circle K, and a host of others.

Fields career reflects his strong entrepreneurial skills. He co-founded Mrs. Fields Cookies, one of the most successful and best known retail startups in recent history, and served as its Chairman from 1978 to 1990. Known for the innovative use of technology to operate the business as it grew, Fields and the Mrs. Fields Cookie operation were featured in a Harvard Case study that is still used and referenced in business schools today. Fields demonstrated his skills in international business development as the Mrs. Fields brand expanded to more than 900 company owned locations in 12 countries prior to its sale in 1993.

He founded Park City Group in 1990 and expanded his entrepreneurial skills with the co-founding of Captiva Software, a document imaging platform that was recently sold to EMC Corporation for $275 million. Additionally, Mr. Fields is actively involved in angel investing for developing companies and is associated with the Park City Angels Investment Group.

He is a contributing editor to Chief Executive Magazine, and has written extensively on the subject of using technology to solve business challenges. Articles regarding Fields’ concepts, companies and products have been featured in business publications such as Forbes, Business Week, INC Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and Management Review. He has recently written a series of articles for Grocery Headquarters magazine, Modern Grocer, Convenience Store Decisions and Convenience Store News. Additionally, he has authored articles for computer and trade magazines including Computerworld, Information Week, PC Week, Network World, Datamation, RIS News and Chain Store Age Executive.

Mr. Fields holds both a bachelor and a masters degree from Stanford University, where he was a Phi Beta Kappa, Graduate with Great Distinction. He was also a Danforth Fellow and National Science Foundation Fellow while at Stanford.

Elliot Zimmerman, SVP of Field Operations
As Prescient’s senior vice president of field operations, Elliot Zimmerman is responsible for managing Prescient’s prospects and install base accounts, as well as defining the go-to-market strategy for Prescient’s solution offerings, professional services and outsourced business services.

From 2004 until joining Prescient, Zimmerman was director of professional services for Navis. During his tenure there, Zimmerman built an implementation consulting practice to support company growth, managed all client engagement activities, defined the company’s implementation approach and methodology, and established partnerships to augment consulting resources.

From 1996 to 2004, Zimmerman served as director of consulting services for the inventory and logistics practice at Manugistics. While at Manugistics, Zimmerman led key client engagements, ensured quality for multiple system implementations, and managed and mentored the inventory and logistics team. He also helped direct the strategy for service offerings, applications, and consultant certification. During his tenure at Manugistics, Zimmerman honed his supply chain skills, receiving top honors for implementation and management of Manugistics solutions with more than 25 Fortune 500 companies in the consumer products, retail, and grocery industries.

Zimmerman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in logistics and transportation from the University of Maryland.

Jim Eckels, Director of Supply Chain Development
Jim Eckels is director of development at Prescient. He is responsible for overall infrastructure operations and product development, strategy and direction of Prescient's retailer-centric and advanced commerce solutions.  Eckels spearheads the expansion of Prescient's supply chain software solutions and services; he is also responsible for defining and implementing advanced commerce functionality around item, price, and promotion data management. Under Eckels' leadership, Prescient is the recipient of numerous client satisfaction and technology awards, including Philadelphia's 2005 Small Business Excellence Award for Technology Company of the Year.

Eckels has held a variety of product development roles at Prescient since joining the firm in 1996. Prior to Prescient, Eckels worked as an independent contractor for an information systems consulting company. He also spent six years serving in the United States Marine Corps. Eckels holds a bachelor's of science degree in computer science from West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania. 

Kent Rice, Director of Advanced Commerce Development
Kent Rice is director of advanced commerce development at Prescient. He is responsible for the development, strategy, and direction of Prescient’s Advanced Commerce solutions. In this role, Rice oversees the definition and implementation of the advanced commerce application, based on item, price, and promotion data.

Rice has been with the organization since 1988, when the company was doing business as the Applied Intelligence Group. From there, the company evolved into the viaLink Company and in 2004, merged with Prescient Systems, Inc. to become Prescient Applied Intelligence. Rice has held a variety of development positions from database administrator to application architect.

Prior to Prescient, Rice worked as an information systems consultant for McDonnell Douglas and a database administrator for both American Airlines and TG&Y stores.

Rice holds a bachelor’s of science degree in computer science from the University of Central Oklahoma, in Edmond Oklahoma.
