Corporate Leadership

Jack McKenna

President

Jack joined Prescient at the start of 2015 as a member of the Due Diligence Practice, focusing on emerging markets due diligence projects. He led many of Prescient’s most complex and sensitive engagements on behalf of clients in the legal, financial services, automotive, manufacturing, and telecommunications sectors, among others. As President, Jack is responsible for overseeing the firm’s overall operating strategy, in addition to coordinating sales and marketing initiatives that will help drive Prescient’s continued growth. Before joining Prescient, Jack worked in the Asia Pacific headquarters of German industrial conglomerate ThyssenKrupp, focusing on market intelligence efforts in Southeast Asia. Jack earned a B.A. in Political Science and Chinese Language from the University of Notre Dame and is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.

Todd Minden

Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Prior to joining Prescient, Todd served as Vice President of North America Enterprise Solutions at Kroll. With over 26 years of experience serving as a results-oriented sales leader, he has proven success in championing the customer experience and developing strategic consulting relationships with clients, consultants, industry experts, and partners. Prior to his time at Kroll, he led Sales, Marketing, and Account Management at CVM Solutions in his position as Vice President. Todd’s background includes providing marketing solutions, software, data, analytics, identity resolution and strategic consulting to Fortune 500 organizations. Todd earned his B.S. in Marketing from Iowa State University.

John Kula, CFE

Managing Director & Practice Lead | Due Diligence

John helps organizations solve problems in emerging markets, including some of the most challenging corporate jurisdictions in the world. His extensive experience working in law enforcement, corporate security, and data analytics enables a sophisticated approach to identify and resolve risk challenges for our clients. Prior to joining Prescient, John served as a Managing Member of Forenetics, LLC, as a Principal in the regulatory risk and investigations practice at London-based Control Risks, and as Senior Managing Director in the global investigations practice at FTI Consulting, just to name a few. John earned a B.S. in Psychology from Benedictine University and an MBA from DePaul University.

Patrick Murphy JD, CPA, CFE, CAMS

Managing Director & Practice Lead | Investigations

Patrick advises the firm’s clients in mitigating corporate risks including fraud, theft, and insider threats, and advises major law firms on complex litigation support matters. A former supervisory special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Patrick led investigations of high-profile public corruption and financial crimes during his 25 years of service, including the successful investigation, prosecution, and conviction of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. Patrick was also a Director of Forensic, Investigative, and Dispute Services at Grant Thornton prior to joining Prescient. He earned a B.Sc. in Accounting from DePaul University and a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Shawn Mattioli

Senior Director & Head of Operations | Investigations

Shawn manages all operations across Prescient’s Due Diligence and Investigations practices, in addition to leading some of the firm’s most in-depth investigative engagements. Shawn joined Prescient in 2014 and was one of the founding members of the operations team, leveraging his experience as an intelligence analyst contractor for the United States Army to integrate Intelligence Community best practices into Prescient’s research process. While with the U.S. Army, Shawn was assigned to the Criminal Investigation Task Force (CITF). As co-team lead of the J2, he led reach-back analytical support for troops in Afghanistan dealing with LOGSEC and pilferage of NATO and Allied equipment. Shawn earned a B.A. in Intelligence Studies from Mercyhurst University.

Matteo Tomasini

Senior Director & Head of Operations | Cyber

Matteo oversees all cyber offerings, utilizing proprietary tools and techniques to conduct cyber investigations that surpass the possibilities of commercially available solutions. With specializations in cyber threat attribution, deep and dark web investigations, and third-party cyber risk, he has worked on and supervised highly sensitive engagements. Prior to Prescient, Matteo served as Director of Incident Response and Threat Intelligence at BlueVoyant and as a case manager at K2 Intelligence. He earned B.A. degrees in Political Science and History from the University of California, Los Angeles, as well as an M.A. in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

R.M.

Director & Practice Lead | Intelligence

R.M. handles sensitive investigations and research for Prescient, focusing on intelligence and cyber issues. His background in the private sector is supplemented by extensive knowledge of Intelligence Community best practices. With experience in conducting discreet inquiries and visually mapping out vast networks, R.M. helps global leaders in politics, law, and private enterprise address sensitive internal and external challenges.

John Kissane

Director & Managing Partner | Ashtree Risk Group

John joined Prescient’s team in 2014 and is Managing Partner of its European subsidiary, Ashtree Risk Group. John has built the Ashtree brand to be a reputable and reliable Security, Due Diligence, and Risk Management provider in Ireland and the EU. Prior to founding Ashtree, John had a successful career in An Garda Siochana, Ireland’s national police force. John spent thirty years with the force, seventeen of which were as an investigator attached to the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation (NBCI). John’s leadership and experience in state security and investigations has been intrinsic to the successful establishment and growth of Ashtree Risk Group and Prescient more broadly. As well as advising on security and law enforcement matters for national and local government clients, Ashtree Risk Group serves clients in the legal, financial, technology, and consumer retail sectors, among others.

DJ Fuller

Senior Advisor

DJ is a former AH-1W attack helicopter pilot and instructor pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he led over 200 combat missions during a combined three deployments in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Previously, DJ served as the Chief of Staff at Livingston International and Director of Innovation and Supply Chain at Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores (SHO). DJ earned his B.Sc. in Systems Engineering from The United States Naval Academy and his MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business. Additionally, DJ is a graduate of the Marine Corps’ Weapons and Tactics School. He continues to serve as a reserve officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Mark Sanna

Senior Advisor

Mark is the Managing Director of Dynamic Security Solutions International, a boutique international security consulting firm based in Chicago. Prior to that, he was the Vice President for Global Security Operations with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. For more than a decade, Mark was responsible for the strategic management of the company’s security programs and initiatives, as well as all elements of security operations across over 750 hotels in more than 65 countries. Prior to Hyatt, Mark was the Senior Director of Global Security Operations for Kraft Foods; Director of Global Strategic Assessments and Awareness Programs for Altria Corporate Services Inc. (parent company for Philip Morris and Kraft Foods); and Senior Management Consultant at Electronic Data Services Corp. He also served as a Special Agent in the U.S. Department of State Diplomatic Security Service, and brings extensive overseas experience as the Diplomatic Security Attaché (RSO) in Frankfurt, Kuwait, Ankara, Beirut, and Moscow.

Kevin Kelleher

Senior Advisor

Kevin served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cartus Corporation from 1997 until 2018. Realogy Holdings Corp., Cartus’ parent company, is the largest full-service residential real estate services company in the United States. While at Cartus, Kevin was responsible for over 2,500 global employees and oversaw more than 1,000 corporate, government, and military clients in the Cartus portfolio. In his over 35 years of executive leadership, Kevin has led acquisitions, organic growth strategies, global expansion, and new product development resulting in increased market share growth and accelerated financial performance. He has extensive experience leveraging existing and emerging disruptive technologies, resulting in new value for clients and exceeding customer expectations.

Andrew Zwerner

Senior Advisor

Currently the Chief Operating Officer of Chassi, an innovative customer experience platform and software company, Andrew co-founded Prescient in 2010. Under his leadership, Prescient grew from two employees to a recognized industry leader, known for using Intelligence Community techniques to inform commercial solutions. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Andrew served as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Navy and as an FBI Special Agent, focusing on counterterrorism and counterintelligence operations. While assigned to the Navy’s premiere Special Operations Unit, the Naval Special Warfare (SEAL) Development Group, Andrew completed multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and led intelligence operations for 200+ member special operations task forces. Andrew’s passion is to build and lead high performance teams that solve complex problems under challenging circumstances.

From Prescient’s inception in 2010 through 2013, Andrew helped lead the firm from two employees to more than 70 total personnel, with revenues of $12.3M in 2013. Due in large part to Andrew’s leadership, Prescient was listed as #15 on the 2014 Inc. 500 list, and grew nearly 11,500% over the prior three year period. In 2015, the firm moved its headquarters to Chicago, and Andrew led the expansion of its offerings beyond government solutions to technology-enabled services geared toward the private sector.

J.M.

Senior Advisor

J.M. is a former CIA officer who completed multiple tours of duty in the Middle East and South America. During his time in the CIA, he covered a wide range of issues, including counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and information operations. His expertise will prove invaluable when it comes to Prescient’s most sensitive intelligence engagements, especially those involving global research and in-country operations.
